Zara’s new in section is bursting with exciting arrivals every single week, but if you’ve had your eye on an item for months and are hoping to see it added to the sale, you’re probably wondering the next sale starts.

The summer sale recently ended and now autumn winter pieces have started dropping. Have you seen the boots? They’re to die for!

But with the cost of living crisis reducing our financial capabilities to splash out, shopping smarter has never been more important.

The brand notoriously never offers discount events or codes, reserving their generosity for seasonal sales instead.

When they do come around, they’re a great – not to mention the only – opportunity to pick up some great pieces at a much lower price.

So when will the next sale happen and how much can you expect to save? Here’s everything we know.

When does the next Zara sale start?

Many high street brands have gone into sale recently, including Mango and & Other Stories. Zara won’t hold another sale for a while though.

The next Zara sale is expected to take place on Black Friday, which happens on the last Friday of November. This year, that’s on the 25th.

Following that, you can expect to see the next major sale taking place from Boxing Day, so sadly we have a long old wait.

The Special Prices section is always good to keep your eyes on however, as Zara sometimes quietly discounts pieces, while you can also find some sale pieces leftover there too.

The summer sale recently drew to a close. This always roughly starts during the third week of June every year, so you can expect to see the same again in 2023.

Can you return sale items?

You have 30 days to return items bought online and in store, but after this period ends you won’t be able to return your items.

As you may or may not know, Zara now charge for returns so it’s also a good idea to try before you buy in-store.

Does Zara’s sizing run small?

Shoppers frequently report that Zara’s sizing runs small, but it’s best to try pieces on to work out which size fits you best.

In my experience, some items run large, while others run really small.

There’s also a sizing hack at Zara that TikTok users have shared, with labels helping shoppers work out which sizes to pick.

Tips for shopping the Zara sale

First and foremost, don’t wait for Zara’s sale to start before you purchase your most-loved piece.

I say this because much of the time when something from Zara sells out, it isn’t restocked.

Obviously if you’re looking months ahead this point stands, whereas the day before the sale it makes sense to wait until the following day and make sure you’re at the right place at the right time.

Secondly, download the app and start adding your most wanted items to your favourites list. This is because the sale always starts on the app first, whether an hour before or a full 24 hours ahead of the in-store sale, so it pays to have it.

But skipping IRL shopping isn’t advised. If you miss out on something you’re desperate to buy, check out your local Zara as it might still be there. As many people choose to shop online these days, you’re more likely than ever to discover gems in-store.

Zara’s sales have followed a pattern over the last few years, which makes it pretty easy to predict when they’ll be.

Does Zara Home have sales?

Yep! Zara Home’s sales follow the same pattern as the fashion sales, so you can expect to save some money around Black Friday.

What is the best day to shop at Zara?

According to WhoWhatWear, Zara is restocked twice weekly – usually Mondays and Thursdays.

The worst day is said to be Saturday.
