Ever since the touring industry rebooted in 2021, Latin music has become increasingly popular, with some of its biggest acts announcing tours in 2022 — including Bad Bunny, who closed out the year with a record-breaking $435 million in tour grosses that combine more than 80 concerts from two separate treks (El Último Tour del Mundo and The World’s Hottest Tour)

Colombian star Karol G also made history, becoming the highest U. S. -grossing tour by a female Latin act with her $Trip Love Tour, grossing $69. 9 million and selling 410,000 tickets across 33 shows in North America, according to numbers reported to Billboard Boxscore. The “Bichota” singer surpassed Jennifer Lopez‘s $50 million grossing It’s My Party World Tour in 2019.  

While Bunny and Karol made the rounds, two of reggaetón’s big dogs, Daddy Yankee and Wisin y Yandel, also kicked off their individual farewell tours.  

The former wrapped his La Última Vuelta World Tour with $197. 8 million and 1. 9 million tickets sold over 83 shows in 2022, making it the second-biggest tour by a Latin artist in Boxscore history. The latter wrapped the year with a historic residency of 14 sold-out concerts at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, part of the duo’s La Última Misión World Tour

Other memorable treks last year included Feid, Christian Nodal, Sebastian Yatra, and Rosalía, whose Motomami World Tour grossed $28. 1 million through the end of October

  Mexican superstar Alejandro Fernández‘s 21-date Amor Y Patria Tour is set to kick off Sept. 8 in Sacramento, Calif. The 2023 stint —  on which he’ll be joined by his son Alex Fernández — will follow the prolific touring act’s 2021 Hecho En México trek, which marked his grand return to live shows after the pandemic

  Tour. Sanz En Vivo

  Spanish star Alejandro Sanz is set to come back to the U. S. for the first time since the pandemic with his Sanz En Vivo Tour, produced by Loud And Live. The 11-date trek kicks off in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in September and has stops in cities such as Chicago, New York and Houston before wrapping up in Los Angeles in October. “I expect this comeback will be filled with a lot of love, magic, good energy.   Latin trap star Arcángel is set to hit the road this summer with his Just In Time Tour. The 14-date stint, produced by Live Nation, will kick off Aug. 26 at the Allstate Arena in the Chicago area, making stops across the U. S. in Los Angeles, New York, Miami and more before wrapping up in Orlando at Amway Center on Oct. 1

  In support of her upcoming release, João (out Aug. 25), a love letter to her late father, Jõao Gilberto — revered as the Father of Bossa Nova — Bebel Gilberto is readying to embark on a 15-city North American summer tour. “Since my first album, I’ve never really covered any of my dad’s music,” said the singer in a press release. “Now it’s time to present to the public the songs from João Gilberto that have influenced me since I was born — and even before. ” The Brazilian singer will be making stops in major cities such as New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston and more, kicking off on August 10th.

  Becky G is going on her first headlining tour

  The 16-date tour will run through the early fall, starting with a show Sept. 14 at Roadrunner in Boston followed by stops in New York City, Atlanta, Orlando and more. At the tail end of the month, Becky will spend consecutive nights across Texas by performing in Sugar Land, Grand Prairie, San Antonio and McAllen before playing El Paso’s Abraham Chavez Theatre.   After successfully touring Latin America, Manuel Turizo has announced the U. S. leg of his 2000 Tour. Produced by CMN Events, the nearly monthlong trek kicks off Oct. 6 at Miami’s James L. Knight Center and wraps Nov. 3 in Chicago. The Colombian act — known for hits such as “Una Lady Como Tu,” “La Bachata” and “El Merengue” — will also visit New York City, Los Angeles and other key cities. “I am eager to meet my audience in the United States,” he said in a statement. “I aim to deliver an unforgettable show. ”

  Pepe Aguilar is set to headline two tours this year. The Mexican music star will be playing across the U. S. starting July 22, marking his first solo tour since 2017. Over the past five years, he had been touring with his family — featuring his children Ángela Aguilar, Leonardo Aguilar and brother Antonio Aguilar Jr. — in the top-grossing Jaripeo Sin Fronteras spectacle, which he will also be headlining this year

  Corridos rising star Peso Pluma will go on his first-ever U. S. tour this year. The Mexican singer-songwriter will start his Live-Nation-produced stint in Ontario, Calif. , on April 8, and includes stops in 24 cities across the U. S

  “It has always been a dream of mine and the whole Peso Pluma family to go on tour in the U. S. and I definitely didn’t expect it to happen so soon, but I am looking forward to connecting with my fans in every city and getting to experience every moment of this with them,” the regional Mexican artist — who was Billboard‘s Latin Artist on the Rise in March — said in a statement. “We have a great show planned, lots of new music on the way, exciting collaborations, and showing everyone what the Double P is made of. ”

  Colombian pop group Piso 21 announced their 2023 U. S. tour called Los Muchachos (the boys) — which is also the title to their upcoming studio album. Produced by Loud and Live along with Tesa Entertainment, in partnership with Three Six Zero, the four-member act (Dim, Lorduy, Pablo and El Profe) will visit seven U. S. cities in the fall, starting at New York’s Palladium Time Square on Sept. 8, and wrapping Oct. 1st at The Studio at the Factory in Dallas.   Colombian artist Ryan Castro will hit the road with his U. S. with his Ghettostar Tour, slated to kick off Sept. 1 in West Palm Beach, Fla. The stint includes 10-stops from Sept. 1 through Sept. 22 with stops in cities such as Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Houston. The Ghettostar Tour follows Castro’s 17-city summer Europe tour where he performed in cities across Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Poland and France.
