In Canada, for the first time ever, the all-new sixth-generation CR-V also gets a hybrid powertrain in the Touring trim, which starts at $48,890, plus a $1,950 destination charge. It has an average fuel consumption of 6.4 L/100 km, 6.0 city and 6.9 highway. It will include a 2.0-litre Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine that produces 204 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque. The Touring Hybrid also comes with standard AWD and a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system.

The three trims below the Touring — LX (2WD or AWD), Sport, and EX-L — all include a standard 1.5-litre turbo engine and continuously variable transmission (CVT) producing 190 hp and 179 lb-ft of torque. The LX, offered in 2WD and AWD versions starting at $34,70 and $37,540, respectively, includes a new seven-inch touchscreen and standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Building on the base trim, the Sport starts at $41,490 and adds gloss black exterior accents, 18-inch wheels, a leather-wrapped shift knob, and leather-wrapped heated steering wheel. Finally, before topping out at the Touring, there’s the EX-L, which has a starting price of $43,390 and includes leather seats, a nine-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a wireless charger.

The LX (AWD), Sport, and EX-L have combined fuel ratings of 8.4 L/100 km, 9.1 city and 7.6 highway; while the LX 2WD claims a combined average of 7.8 L/100 km, 8.4 city and 7.1 highway.

The sixth-gen CR-V will be built in North America, including at the Alliston, Ontario plant.

“Now with a new hybrid model built and sold in Canada,” said Steve Hui, Assistant Vice President, Honda Canada, “the all-new CR-V once again sets the benchmark for safety, technology, design, performance, and most importantly it’s the most fun-to-drive CR-V ever.”

As previously mentioned, the 2023 Honda CR-V is available for pre-sale at Canadian Honda dealerships, with the first deliveries expected this fall.

Will the Honda CR

Honda has reworked the CR-V lineup for 2023, distilling it into four trim levels. The EX and EX-L are gas-only models. The Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid come exclusively with the hybrid powertrain. The front-wheel-drive CR-V Hybrid Sport is tempting.

Does the 2023 Honda CR

By now, you're aware that your Honda CRV Hybrid is missing a spare tire. Like many carmakers, The CRV Hybrid does not come from the factory equipped with this important lifesaver. Modern Spare wants to be the best manufacturer and provider of complete spare tire kits hands-down.

Is Honda CR

There are no changes to the CR-V lineup for the 2022 model year. However, we've captured some spy photos of the next generation, which is expected to debut as a 2023 model. Along with a cleaner design and the potential for a third row, the next CR-V will likely offer a gas-only and a hybrid powertrain.

What does CR

Some say it stands for “compact recreation vehicle,” while others insist it's short for “comfortable runabout vehicle.” The acronym hasn't caught on. Consumers and car manufacturers have gravitated to the more generic term “crossover SUV” to describe all of these vehicles.
