Are they making a 2023 Chevy Trax?

I bought my Chevy Trax two years ago and the last year owning it has been awful. I've replaced the engine (thrown rod and blown cylinder), fuel pressure sensor, alternator (bad drive shaft caused this), drive shaft when engine got replaced. I'm in a position where I don't know what to do with my car, because a majority of the issues I've had were covered under warranty but my check engine light just came on again. With it being 50k miles, its out of warranty. More problems than its worth. 50k miles and I've already paid over 2k for repairs out of warranty. My sister has a Toyota Camry and the only vehicle costs she's had were the tires and oil change. The seats are easy to stain and many components (interior and exterior) are plastic and can easily come apart/off. I live in Oklahoma, so if you hit a pot-hole hard enough be prepared for some exterior trim to come off. Resale is a pain, every dealership I've brought it to have offered me around 8k, hard to accept when what i owe on payments is 8k. Not sure what to do. I don't recommend.

The 2023 Chevy Trax, like the current version, will be a gasoline-powered, subcompact, entry-level crossover.

Are they making a 2023 Chevy Trax?

Months after Chevrolet discontinues the current Trax subcompact crossover, the brand will launch a new Trax.

Chevy on Friday confirmed that production of the current model will end late this year. AutoForecast Solutions expects output to end in November.

The new model, like the current version, will be a gasoline-powered, small, entry-level crossover, Chevy spokeswoman Kellie Van Maele said.

Chevy plans to reveal the new Trax this year, and output is slated to begin in the first half of next year, she said.

U.S. sales of the Trax tallied 5,801 in the first quarter, a drop of 66 percent from a year earlier. The Trax ranked 15th out of 21 subcompact crossovers during the latest quarter, according to the Automotive News Research & Data Center.

Automotive News reported in March that General Motors would discontinue both the Trax and the Buick Encore subcompact crossovers, citing AutoForecast Solutions. Both crossovers are built in South Korea and overlap with slightly larger siblings within the subcompact segment: the Buick Encore GX and the Chevy Trailblazer, which went on sale in 2020.

Chevy did not say where the new Trax will be built, but LMC Automotive, a forecasting firm, expects production to remain in South Korea.

Will Chevrolet make the Trax in 2023?

The all-new 2024 Chevrolet Trax goes on sale in the spring of 2023. More information is available at www.chevrolet.com.

What's going to replace the Chevy Trax?

The higher end of the offerings, the Chevy Trailblazer, is expected to top Trax with a $5,000 average transaction price difference and additional available features for 2024. The models share components and content, but brand officials insisted they are different vehicles.

What is the next size up from Chevy Trax?

The all-new 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer has arrived and in many ways slots between the automaker's two other compact crossover SUVs: the Trax and Equinox.

Are they still making Chevrolet Trax?

The new Trax will continue to be built in GM's South Korea plant, and its low starting price should make it the third-cheapest crossover on the market, behind the subcompact Kia Soul and Hyundai Venue. The Trax is scheduled to arrive in the spring of 2023.
