2 Can you Please Following Below step: 1) Go to Phone Setting > Developer options > Revoke USB debugging. 2) Turn off USB debugging and Restart Again. It will work definitely, in my case it worked. answered May 22, 2019 at 8:01
3 A different, hardware-oriented approach: Are you sure the cable you're using does allow for data transfer? answered Mar 25, 2020 at 21:37
JoachimJoachim 2295 silver badges15 bronze badges 1 In my case I have to set the "Select USB Configuration" which is under "Networking" in the "Developer Options" from Charging to MTP(Media Transfer Protocol) for the dialog to show answered Oct 23, 2021 at 15:56

for me it was vice versa. "from Charging to MTP(Media Transfer Protocol) for the dialog to show" but from MTP to charging (i prefer charging in general) answered Jul 12 at 21:05
I ran into this issue with my phone Android 11 after I rooted it. I resolved the issue by disabling and then re-enabling Developer options Disable Developer options in the Developer options menu. answered Oct 4, 2021 at 14:00
Why is USB debugging grayed out?Try selecting the default mode as Internet connection. Go to Settings -> Connectivity -> Default Mode -> Internet Connection. Now enable the USB Debugging mode under Applications -> Development -> USB Debugging.
Can ADB enable USB debugging? To use adb with a device connected over USB, you must enable USB debugging in the device system settings, under Developer options. To use adb with a device connected over Wi-Fi, see Connect to a device over Wi-Fi. On Android 4.2 and higher, the Developer options screen is hidden by default.
Is USB debugging enabled by default? On modern Android devices, you'll find USB Debugging in the Developer Options menu, which is hidden by default. To unlock it, head to Settings and scroll down to About phone. Scroll down again on the next menu, and you'll see a Build number entry at the bottom.
