My first impression was underwhelming. But I really am enjoying the dry down and this Trussardi Red is growing on me. The Tonka is most appealing and I keep getting whiffs here and there that make me like this. There's something very Italian at it's heart. Thumbs up!

This is your typical trendy Men's fragrance of the current standards of sweet, boozy, leathery and minty. Has similarities with many main stream fragrances on the market (One Million, Eros, Polo Red Intense, etc). This is by no means a bad juice. It is very nice and would be great on a date night in the fall or winter. It is strong with amazing longevity. For the price and quality it is a safe blind buy IMO. If you want something more grown up in this vein I would suggest Moustache EDP by Rochas. Enjoy!

A nice fragrance that evokes passion and heightens desire by combining warm, lively and sensual fragrance notes but the red bottle is misleading as the scent is not hot or sexy. Sweet, comfortable, aromatic, charming, generic and spicy.

A pleasant fruity combination of citron. however the violet leaf and clary sage bring a fresher and zestier vibe to the overall composition. It's extremely synthetic, so be warned if you have a sensitive sinus cavity. The galbanum, cognac, nutmeg can sometimes be harsh in tandem with some wearers and require some gritty survival instincts in the heart stage of its evolution to survive.

It is not strictly masculine, rather first time i smelled it i got confused for which gender it is. So it means it can be wearable for women also. But on men it charms the best. It opens with a fresh, aromatic burst with citron and violet leaf. The middle notes are warm and intense with geranium leaves, clary sage and violet leaf. The base awakens the senses with the sensuality and tenacity of woody, sensual essences of tonka bean, patchouli and leather.

These totally masculine, woody notes give the fragrance an aura of grandeur and authenticity. To me this one has a really promising opening, a really fresh, deep wooded fruity. This lasts about 2 minutes until you are taken straight into the heart of the fragrance and this is where I was a little disappointed. It pretty much finishes as it started loud and proud with synthetic tonka. "It's nothing special," etc. But it is a very pleasant, smelling fragrance that women dig a lot.

Uomo the Red is like a guy at that party he flirts with every girl, sometimes he's too harsh, sometimes he's too sweet. Totally This is a perfect scent to wear into the office (but spritz lightly, this is a strong cologne) under a heavy sweater, to a boardmeeting, out to dinner or on a date. Very wearable for the autumn/ winter months.

It is unmistakably Trussardi Uomo, but it is not great. Nothing special about it, and not as red as the name and bottle would have you believe. It's strength is simultaneously its weakness: the connection to Trussardi Uomo. The concept might work for the original version versus the new launched version. Overall for me, no thank you.

Pretty fine in warm weather, discreet sillage and good duration, red fruits all around... a bit on the synth vibe, but...Hey ! Springtime is back again! Stupendously enjoyable!

Nothing "red" (namely baroque, luxurious, exotic or decadent) under my profane nose. If "red" is Habit Rouge, Basala or Xeryus Rouge we are unfortunately quite distant from these levels guys. A great disappointment as well as all the brand new Trussardi's recent issues (Uomo new and Black Extreme). Well, Vintage Trussardi Uomo was one of the best 10 fragrances ever created imo, here we are groping in a misty swamp of disconcerting "fashionable" mediocrity. I don't get any sign of style or creativity my friends, a pity for a brand which I generally appreciate. An uninspired combination of nowadays mainstream "scratchy/metallic/mentholated" olfactive stereotypes. To be direct, an ideal minty-ambery-spicy hyper synthetic combination of scents a la Roccobarocco Estraordinary for men, Paco Rabanne One Million, Montblanc Legend, Ysl Silver kouros, Ted Lapdus Black Soul, overall amalgamated by a disgusting neutral cedary woodiness and by hints of pale (somewhat impalpable) ambroxan-mastered creamy simil booziness (cognac? Magari!!!). Violet, clary sage's mintiness, tonka/tolu balm and gassy woodiness are dominant under my nose. Great italian classy packaging. Pass by. Please Trussardi, be serious, give me back my immense vintage Uomo.
