Sửa lỗi Office: Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office

reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Word\Options /v NoReReg /t REG_DWORD /d 1
winword /a - Không tải add-ins khi chạy.

You have probably already seen postings about the above topic title if you've installed Office 2013 on a Terminal Server - in my case Citrix servers. The pop-up box that appears each time a user launches Outlook. And you have probably also seen the fix: "Add Windows Search Service within the File Services role." And yes it does indeed stop the annoying pop-up from happening when a user launches Outlook. BUT - did you know
that with that service added, users can no longer search within their People/Contacts in Outlook? At least that is the case for us. We are trying to decide which is more annoying: having the pop-up or not being able to search in People/Contacts. OR - maybe somebody out there knows about this and can share a fix?? No pop-up AND be able to search in Contacts? Thanks for any help you might have.

Hold the phone!! My amazing network sys admin just found the fix:
//support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2643974Opens a new window
This issue occurs when the following conditions are true:
- The 32-bit version of Office is installed on a 64-bit version of the operating system.
- The Windows Search Service is not installed.
Check and check.
If you DON'T want to install the Search Service [concerns about performance and storage space], there is a simple registry key to add to each server and the pop-up is gone immediately. AND - search functions all work fine in Outlook.
Per Microsoft:
If you prefer not to use or install the Windows Search Service, you can disable indexing in Outlook. To do this, follow these steps:
- Exit Outlook.
- Start Registry Editor. To do this, use one of the following procedures, as
appropriate for your version of Windows.
- Windows 8: Press Windows Key + R to open a Run dialog box. Type regedit.exe and then press OK.
- Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, or Windows Server 2012: Click Start, type regedit.exe in the search box, and then press Enter.
- In Registry Editor, locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Search
- Point to New on the Edit menu, and then click DWORD [32-bit] Value.
- Type PreventIndexingOutlook, and then press Enter.
- Right-click PreventIndexingOutlook, and then click Modify.
- In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
- On the File menu, click Exit to exit Registry Editor.
