In terms of design, the Mi NoteBook Ultra is made up of a series 6 aerospace-grade aluminium alloy with a precision metal cut which gives the laptop a minimalistic yet modern look 一 the build quality of the laptop is excellent and looks very premium. Further, the display has a 15.6-inch IPS 3.2K display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 90Hz screen refresh rate. It is a great display for work as well as watching movies or shows.

Under the hood, the Mi NoteBook Ultra comes with 11th gen Intel Core H35 series processor 一 Core i5 (11300H). You get 8GB of RAM and 512GB NVMe SSD. Realme is bringing the sleek yet simple designed notebook to the sub Rs 60,000 segment with Realme Book Slim. Weighing 1.38 kg, Realme Book Slim is easy to travel with. The laptop has a premium look, especially in the Real Blue colour as it looks unique from the rest of the crowd. In terms of usability, the Realme Book Slim is very comfortable on the lap or on the table.

Realme brings the much-needed refreshing change in the visual department. With Full HD display being common in the segment, Realme has included a 2K full vision display with 2160×1440 pixel resolution 一 it's a good display with nice viewing angles and also outdoor visibility thanks to 300nits brightness.

The keyboard offers one of the most enjoyable experiences - the keys have 1.3mm travel and the sound of clicks are very satisfying. and the trackpad is also a fairly large trackpad with support for Windows 10 gestures. The Mi NoteBook 14 flaunts a 14-inch 2.5K resolution screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 100% sRGB coverage and a 60Hz refresh rate. The machine is said to last up to 11 hours with its 66Whr battery unit. There is also fast charging which can fuel up the laptop up to 50% in just 34 minutes.

The VivoBook 17s performance was top-notch and handled anything we threw at it with ease and came out in flying colours all the time during our review period. The notebook lasted us one full work throughout our testing period. On average our screen time was anywhere between six hours to eight hours.

The design of the laptop is quite hard and rigid, it is strong and feels premium while using. But, this laptop might not be everyones cup of tea as it is quite bulky and not that easy to travel with. It also misses out on certain aspects such as a full-size SD card slot, a fingerprint scanner, and also privacy shutter. But, if these are not your concerns, the Asus VivoBook 17 M712 might be the one for you. It is also mentioning that the machine costs a little more than Rs 60,00 - but, if you want a large screen experience this is the one to consider.

On a single charge, the laptop is rated to last up to 8 hours - however, in real-life usage, it comes down to 6 hours.

MSI, a brand that is generally known for its gaming laptops, has a good one under Rs 60,000 - the MSI GF63. Powered by the 10th gen Core i5 processor and paired with 8GB RAM and 1TB HDD + 256GB SSD hybrid option, the laptop comes with 4GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Max Q GPU which helps for gaming.

You can play games like GTA 5, Battlefield, Red Dead Redemption 2, etc on the laptop easily. There is a large 15.6-inch display which is just average as it has only a 45%NTSC colour. Port options include a Type-C USB3.2 (Gen1), three Type-A USB3.2 (Gen1), LAN and an HDMI slot. You also get a Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless connectivity option.
