Every video keeps pausing after only playing for a little bit

Every video I watch will play for a few seconds [sometimes a minute if I'm lucky] and then it would just pause itself! This is very annoying. I have tried clearing the data and the cache. The app is up to date. Internet connection is definitely not an issue. Only the youtube app is having this problem, no other video streaming apps are pausing.Please advise any solutions. Thank you.

Only does this on my fire tablet. But god damn its annoying as hell, and been goin on for weeks. Billion dollar company and the app was better years ago. Funny how that works.

Does anybody have an answer to this? I'm wanting to join Youtube Premium but I'm damned if I'm gonna pay for something that doesn't work. I find it frustrating watching youtube these days due to the constant freezing. It takes hours to watch a 20 minute stream sometimes.
