[*] All Filing Fees are Non-refundable. Section 1751.5 of the California Insurance Code states, in part, that the filing fees shall not be refunded, whether or not the application is acted upon or an examination taken.

[**] Late Renewal Fees: The late renewal fees include the original renewal fee and the penalty fee.

[***] Bail Renewals: Bail renewals are renewed for two year terms. Bail Agents pay $188 per surety company appointment and Bail Solicitors pay $188. After the expiration date of the license, bail agents and bail solicitors must reapply and pay a license fee of $1,244.  In addition, Bail Permittees must reapply and pay a license fee of $2,496].

Non-Resident Fees

California's licensing fee for non-residents is the same as the fee to become licensed as a resident producer when applying for the same type of license regardless of which state the individual holds a resident license.
