If you have a wireless card in your computer and it supports 5.8Ghz hotspot mode, just put your computer into hotspot mode and connect directly to your computer. No reason to have a middle-man that can screw up the connection. I get solid 800mbps connections and it works great [I have an ASRock X570 Taichi with an Intel WiFi 6 AX200 wireless card]. Some older Intel wireless cards wouldn't allow you to turn on hotspot mode for 5.8Ghz due to regulations in some countries at the time, but there are ways to get around that].
will try and get one.. or at least a usb wireless dongle for testing.
