Youtube is completely broken on both Firefox and Chrome - sidebar, notifs, likes, playlists - gone!

Please help!
It's been 2 days now that something happened to my youtube - on both Firefox and Chrome.
- the sidebar is just completely empty, only those small font buttons left
- notifications are not opening, just loading forever
- I can't like
- I can't comment
- I can't add videos to a playlist, the button just doesn't do ANYTHING
BUT
- everything seems fine on Incognito
- everything is fine on android app
Am I in some weird shadowban or something? Please help :[
EDIT: David's solution did not work on either of 2 of my accounts in firefox and chrome. As soon as I log in everything is broken again

Hi,
I had the same problem. I went to the Studio [by pressing on the video upload button next to your avatar] where I was able to log out completely. After logging out, I logged back in, and the problems were completely gone.

Yes. Same problem here. It remains for a week. Before that there were problems with default accounts auto-switching.
Clearly it's Google/Youtube issue.
All worked fine before the recent site update.
However the problem appears only on my Firefox. Opera works fine.
Incognito doesn't help, re-authorization doesn't help, Youtube cookies purge doesn't help either.

It seems to be happening in most browsers. Personally I wish Youtube would stop "improving" the site with "updates". Every single time they change something it becomes less pleasant to use and quite frankly is nowhere near as good as it was before Google took it over. "Fix" it by rolling back a few years and considering the user instead of Googles bank balance please.

Had the same issue and follow David's reply and it fixed it entirely, thank you so much man!
Personally I was using Waterfox 56.2.14 and thought it might've been an extension or something but nope turns out Google is more incompetent than I thought. They really need to stop messing around with code.

@Cal Ward same here! Just need my family to move their libraries to spotify. I am officially done with YTM. I can't believe I waited around for... this! I hope removing my subscription fixes it because this is just ridiculous
