In today’s post I will be sharing my thoughts on the Innisfree My Hair Recipe Repairing Conditioner For Damaged Hair.

I got this as a free sample from Innisfree after an in-store purchase when I was in Korea, but only just used it this year. My hair is pretty long at the moment and quite damaged at the ends – waiting for salons to reopen after the lockdown. I ended up using the whole sample in 3 uses!

Ingredients

Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Sorbitol, Dipropylene Glycol, Dimethicone, Behentrimonium Chloride, Cyclopentasiloxane, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Amodimethicone, Fragrance, Isopropyl Alcohol, Lactic Acid, Trideceth-10, Disodium Edta, Phenoxyethanol, Camellia Japonica Seed Oil, Bacillus/Soybean Ferment Extract, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis [Jojoba] Seed Oil, Glycerin, Arginine, Mannitol, Pca, Serine, Sucrose, Butylene Glycol, Propanediol, Citrulline, Glycogen, Histidine Hcl, Camellia Japonica Leaf Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract, Opuntia Coccinellifera Fruit Extract, Orchid Extract, Alanine, Glutamic Acid, Lysine Hcl, Threonine, 1,2-Hexanediol, Glycine Soja [Soybean] Protein, Glycolipids, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin

Scent: Baby powder/ lotion scent, and also lightly floral.

Appearance, Texture & Consistency: Very thick white coloured cream that doesn’t drip.

Result

For the state my hair is in at the moment, this conditioner was just okay, but okay as it can be really considering my hair is seriously on the verge of turning into a birds nest that only a good old haircut can solve.

I liked that this helped to detangle my hair while washing and my hair felt quite smooth but after drying my hair it didn’t feel as smooth anymore, although it was a little healthier with less frizz.

Will I Repurchase? No, but not because it’s not good, I just don’t like this particular fragrance for my hair. I prefer something fruity and minty to give a fresh energising feeling to my hair and scalp, but if you like the floral dusty baby powder scent and need something to condition your hair you might like this.

I feel like if my hair was in a better state or only slightly damaged this would actually have shown good visible nourishing results, but I wouldn’t actually know so if anyone has experience with this conditioner please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments box.

Is hair fixing spray safe?

Using hairspray alone will not cause damage to your hair. However, with repeated use of sprays, your hair can lose some of its best qualities. It's important to use other products to retain shine and moisture and reduce product build-up. And always be careful with your hair.

How do you use Innisfree hair mist?

[Directions] Spray on wet or dry hair from about 10cm distance and gently massage to get it absorbed. [Caution] [1] Immediately stop using in case of skin abnormalities after use. [2] Always recap after use. [3] Use as quickly as possible after opening.
